Oh, the fun we'll have....

Our Disney Adventure!

We rode the bus to California with my work turnaround trip. We went with Kristen, her husband Dan, Megan, and Casey. The bus was really cold. It was pretty cool getting to hold Cody, but not so safe. Kristen had him laughing like crazy. It was so cute. When we got to the park Deja's friend Anthony signed us in. Deja met up with me and the Code-man after she got off work. My grandparent came out, too. Then after they left Tina and Jeremy came to meet me and Cody for dinner.

We started our day with the Monorail. We rode in the front. That was super sweet! Now I am going to us load some pictures. :)
C is for Cody. That is good enough for me!

Breakfast at Ariel's Grotto. Dining with Disney princesses!

It was a fun tiring trip. We even stayed the night at the Disneyland hotel and drove home in a retal van. That was fun to me. I want a mini van. I really liked it. Cody pooped on the way and we didnt even smell it until I took him out to change him. It was so bad that Kristen had to hold him in the air while I wiped him down. Now, there's a friend!

These pictures were totally not in order!

The jungle cruise. Awww. Megan and I went back to the bus at the end of the night dropped Casey off and got all our stuff. It was a funny sight walking from the parking lot to the hotel. Cody's stroller stacked high with him balanced on top. I wish we would have got a picture of that!

Welp, thanks for reading. We had such a great time. Thanks to everyone who met up with us and who went with us! We love you all!

Quirky!

My sister in law Lauren tagged me into explaining seven quirks about my self and tagging four other people to do the same thing.

1. I don’t think bacon belongs in unnecessary places. I can have a whole pound of it by itself in one sitting but do not; I repeat do not ruin my burger or salad by adding bacon to it. Bacon is good by itself but rarely does it belong with anything else.

2. I have been thinking about this for 2 weeks now. I keep coming up with things about me and now I am having a brain freeze. It is driving me crazy! I am a tad bit OCD and since I decided I was going to do this it has been nagging me in the back of my mind that it is not done yet. And it is just a game and no one cares if I do it or not. But one quirky thing is it will hound me until it is done. And when that was number 2!

3. Any time I am walking past any type of reflective glass (or plastic) I have to check myself out. I have to. I use to not even realize I was doing it but years ago Deja pointed it out to me in line for Star Tours. Yeppers, there is reflective red plastic in that line. It isn’t that I am a narcosis or anything, I am just self conscious so I look.

4. Advertising works on me. I will see a commercial hear one on the radio and days later I will buy the product. A few little bit after I purchase said product I see or hear the commercial again and I realize this is why I “had to” buy Hot Tamales, or grapes from a specific store, or whatever. Darn advertisers!

5. My ears are very sensitive to radio white noise insomuch so that it causes me a headache so bad I can barely function. The radio either need to be up loud enough to hear and discern the song/under stand the voices or it needs to be off. None of that so low I can barely hear it crap. I am getting sore just thinking about it. But, the fan doesn’t bother me. The loud baby monitor is ok, too. I think that one is ok because it is my link to Cody in the night.

6. I like to make up fake diets. Like the Corn diet and the alphabet diet and the color diet. I use to joke about going on the corn diet. I was going to only eat things that had the word corn in them. Like Corn, candy corn, corn nuts, popcorn, Cornish game hen, corn beef, corn bread, corn on the cob. Think I’d lose weight? I am sure I would. It is a 2 week diet. The alphabet diet is like this: It is a 26 day diet. It is called the alphabet diet.
Day one you only eat foods that start with the letter A
Day 2 you only eat foods that start with the letter B
Day 3 you only eat foods that start with the letter C
And so on.
You can have water every day, but you can only have water mix ins or juice on the day of that letter.
So day one you can have apple juice and artichokes and Arby’s
Day two might be burger king. And bacon and a burrito and well, there is a lot.
I don’t know if you can lose weight on this dies. I am pretty sure I would be fasting on day 16 and U.

7. The back of my car has the little people stickers. They are the ones from Disney where we are wearing Mickey Hats. Me, then Bella, then Cody. Bella is before Cody because Bella was born first. She is older.

Ok, I would tag Heather but she already did it. I will tag Megan, Meagan, Kristen, and Steffie.

The Compton Chateau

Jeaniece has been in Texas on a business trip. I have been spending "school nights" at her house since last Tuesday so i can get the kids off to daycare in the morning since Robb leaves for work before they open.

Cody has been having a lot of fun spending time with his cousins. I do not, repeat DO NOT enjoy their dog.

Photo Tag. It is fun!

I am so behind in my blogging and reading. I like to comment more than I have been. I feel like I am 5 blogs behind. I am starting with this one. Then I will do the quirk one Lauren tagged me in. and I will tell about staying with the Compton's and post some pictures from that, and then Disneyland after that. But maybe not all in that order. So here is this one....

We heart church!

I am so sad that I will be leaving my ward when my lease is up. They have been such a great support group for me. Such kind loving people. And tonight at the activity I am going to sing. Haha! We'll see how that goes. Let me tell you, no one has accused me of being a good singer, ever! But it should be fun!

Happy Friday!

6 1/2 months old wearing size 18 months pants.

Yep, that's right. I sent Cody to day care in size 12 month baby jeans and when I picked him up he was wearing size 18 months shorts. He can only really wear pants that button. The elastic bands don't stretch enough to go past his thighs. On Tuesday when his pants were changed he was wearing big boy 12 months jeans that got up over his thighs but they were squishing his poor tummy. Above: The too small pants. Oh, and the shoes too. His one and only time wearing them. They were a gift. I took back the size two's and got the bigger size. They are too small too since his foot is too wide! Some one asked me if his dad was Samoan today. I think it was the orange shirt. He loves his bath cup.
Cody and his best friend and older sister, Bella. She didn't try to get away or even scratch him. It was so sweet! and I know he was pulling her fur. Poor girl. But she was a good big cuddling sister today. I was a proud momma. Thanks for checking out our blog! Have a happy day!
