Imagination is Sassy

My little man Cody is full of imagination. He says and does the cutest/funniest things. He gets it from me, I know.  Last night I had to run to the store after he already had his bath and was in pj's.  He changed his shirt but instead of putting pants on he put on his Spiderman costume and his boots. I asked him if he wanted to get his hat. He did. He went to the grocery store as Cowboy Spiderman. I love it!

This Cody and his brothers. Ha!

A Perfect Day

What does your perfect day look like?

My perfect day is different than my dream day. More on my dream day another day.

My morning started out like my perfect day.  Cool weather, a fire in the fireplace. Calm happy children. Happy nursing baby. Me totally ignoring the mess all round me in the house. A perfect moment. Could it expand into a perfect day?

I decided to try. I know when the time came for moving off my corner sofa seat and laying the baby down and getting stuff done the perfect feeling might flee. I wanted to stay in that moment all day. So I put a pause on the perfect and got to it.  Made breakfast. Played with the children. Then started in on that hated mess! I wanted to have a perfect evening with my family. In order to accomplish that some of this mess had to be dealt with and I knew it! So, washing dishes & counters, sweeping, mopping, and playing clean up clean up while toy sorting with the kids. Then lunch. Done done done done. Now back to that perfect day. Just can't wait for my husband to get home from work to enjoy it with us!

One of my perfect days = lots of relaxing, happy family, calm me and a clean cool house to enjoy it all in.

Here are some more random Halloween-y pictures of us for you to enjoy!

Halloween-ing!

Halloween is so fun to me. I love getting dressed up I love the costumes and being creative. I like getting candy from strangers and meeting new people at Trunk or Treat. My husband on the other hand was not allowed a Halloween good time as a kid. (He was always grounded.) Now that we are married and he has little ones of his own again he is a great sport in letting me dress him up.  We went to our old wards Trunk or Treat last weekend (ours is this weekend.)

You can't really tell in the picture, but Cody's shirt says "Go Ceilings!" on the back it says "Ceilings are #1!"  He has the pom poms. He went as a "Ceiling Fan." Brawhahaha! Love it!  Little Cody wanted to be the same thing he was last year. A snake. So as I mentioned earlier and posted Caden is a Mouse.  The girls and I dressed up as well.  Stephanie was a fairy and Mariana a Krispy Kreme employee. People seemed to love that.  I braided my hair put a wire in there and sprayed it oranger than normal.  I was Pippi Shortstockings. Ha! We had a lot of fun.

We Trick or treated at Sea World that day, too.

I'm the Luckiest Lady Alive

It never rains right after I wash my car.
I loved being pregnant.
My husband tells me I look beautiful every day until I threaten to give him a purple nurple if he doesn't tell the truth. (The one on your chest, not the drink.)
My sons love to laugh and giggle and snuggle with me.
My 4 year old thinks it is fun to mop the kitchen floor on you hands and knees with an old rag.
I have an awesome mother in law.
My grandparents are the perfect example of what I want to be when I grow up.
I love myself.
Heavenly Father loves me and I know it.
I have a magic camera that makes me look 30 pounds lighter than I am in in real life. (Trust me I am ginormous!)
My husband is my best friend.
I get green lights 87% of the time.
I am more content and happier than I have ever been, even when I feel like I am losing my mind and my world seems to be a messy chaotic crazy place .

Happy October from my little Snake and Mouse

Mommy & friends

We call every one "the friends." Monday through Friday the friends come over. We love it.

Caden's shirt says "I'm the cute one." It is a shirt of truth.

I changed my hair. I like it. After the fade we'll see. Eventually back to blonde. It always happens.
Secret: I did this to the kids first. Then I did mine the next day.

I told Cody we were playing Snoop Dogg. We came up to the computer and I showed him a picture of Snoop Dogg. He was not happy with me. He told me, "No! I am being a real dog.  A black one." Brawhahaha!  Poor B had 3 french braids, before I did Cody's hair. An experiment gone wrong. They had fun, though.

All my kids

There is no love like that of a mother for her children.
This is our United Nations family.
We love them all so much.
