Jeaniece 36 years ago Today

Happy Birthday to you my dear friend. I think I shall eat cake today. In honor of you and your general dislike for sweets.  I like cake enough for the both of us. Trying to think of something clever to write here for you and all your fans.  (He must be famous look at all his fans. Haha.) I have so much in my heart. Sometimes when I think of you I am weighed down by my memories. The nostalgia looms large and heavy in my heart. All I get to know of you now are memories and stories. No new memories. No new silly inside jokes. Well, my old swiss cheese memory needs help so for your 36th birthday I am going to take some memories out of my heart and put them on the world wide web.  Hopefully to take a tear away from my heart and put a smile out there for the world and those who knew you.  Happy day of Jeaniece's Birth.

Again Again

We moved again. This time in with a friend and her 2 kids. Now we are 2 single moms with 4 kids. She has a 7 year old girl and a 6 year old boy.  My boys are 6 and 2 right now. They also have a little non yappy  dog and I have a 4 foot ball python temporarily.  It is a fun full house. too much energy all the time.   My job is good. My kids are adjusting to life.

Cody starts a new school when summer is over.  That is exciting.  Caden is always trying to emulate little Cody. He thinks his brother is great.

Happiest Place on Earth is with my Family!

With all the changes and things my boys and I have been through in the past 9 months we have stayed a happy little family. And to celebrate that I was blessed to have the chance to take my kids to the Happiest Place on Earth.  Grandma Kerns House! Woo-hoo! And while we were there we went to the 2nd Happiest Place on Earth; Disneyland! Shaoo!
And can I tell you, what a difference 9 months makes. When we visited in July Caden had just turned 1. He was loving it all and in awe. This time he was 21 months old. And so happy. It was so much fun for me to just watch his face.  (But not in the picture above. Haha!)

Little Cody had a blast. We took Grandma Karen with us. We got to go to both parks. I love Disney's California Adventure. The powers that be Disney have done an amazing job Disney-fying that place. We love the Pixar movies and they had a Pixar parade. We got a special private meet and greet with Minnie Mouse.  And grandma and grandpa Kern came out for a bit. So we were hanging at the happiest place on Earth with 4 generations!

Disney Junior was right up our alley! Cody love it!

We loved Cars Land! That is where we ate lunch and took out 4 generations photo. My grandparents, my mom, me and my kids.

And of course a huge shout out to Deja for making this possible for me and my lil family!

We watched the amazing as always fire works show at the end of our day. We left with sleepy happy boys.

Look who had a Spiderman Bike 6th Birthday Bash!

This little boy was so excited to turn 6.  For at least 6 months he had been telling me he wanted to have a Spider-man Bike Party for his birthday.  The awesome mom I am I was happy to oblige.  Since we have only been in Arizona about a month and a half we didn't know a whole lot of kids his age to invite. But not to worry, we have family here! Woo-hoo! We decided to hold this birthday bash at grandma Karen and grandpa Benny's house.

Made a red crepe paper Spider Web

Gift bags and more webs with red spider eggs

On the day of the party Grandma Karen took lil Cody to the movie, just the 2 of them.  They went and saw the Lego Movie.  Lil Cody told me that movie was awesome. He still sings the song, "Every thing is awesome."  While they were gone Ella and Olivia helped me decorate the house for the birthday. I made a spider web out of crape paper. (It was red!)  We also hung creepy spider webs so high in the ceiling.  there were balloons and Spiderman masks all around.

Spidey Cousins!

The Daily Bugle(s)!

Spider Web Pops

O enjoying a spider web

Yummy!

Spidermen!

The Cake Redo

Cody's cousins came and his friend Sophie. They rode bikes and made a spider web to trap Grandma, Grandpa, and uncle Robb.  He got lots of great gifts and had a all around Spier-riffic birthday!

This was the 1st cake. the ugliest thing I ever made! Ha!

A quickie on the life of us

Ah ah ah. Life is always changing. We are finally settling into a new routine. Lil Cody, Caden and I moved to Arizona. Back for me and Cody and here for the first time lil Caden. We left Texas with all our stuff we were ale to keep on December 31, 2013. Happy New Year! 2014, new state, new start.  We stayed with my friend Bren and her family for a few weeks then moved to our new to us apartment. We live in a little duplex.  I started my new job the beginning of February.

Cody started his 4th kindergarten class and school in the middle of January. This class is the fullest class he has been in with 29 students. So far he is doing pretty good. He likes his school. He has about an hour of homework each night with the reading and the learning sounds and spelling and math home work and computer time. Some times it is enough to make me want to cry.
Cody lost 2 teeth! He has 3 missing teeth now!!

Caden started daycare here, too. He is at an in home daycare. He loves it. When Cody went to school today Caden fussed and whined at me to get in the car. He sat there happily while I threw my lunch together. Then when we got to the daycare he walked to the door knocked, walked in, turned around and grinned at me with a smile so full of happiness and sunshine it just melted my heart. He is growing up so fast. He is almost 21 months old. Wow! He is so hyper and happy. All over the place. I love how he says balloon and banana. He adds about 3 syllables to each word. Banannannana.  He love jumping. Our neighbor has a big trampoline he allows us to use (after I wrote a liability waiver. J) Caden would go over every day if he had his way.  He is so funny.  They got a new bed they seem to really love, too. A bunbed. With a slide. Cadens toddler bed it below it.

I am going to give you a little TMI right now that I don’t usually share.  I like to make my life seem all like sunshine and roses, but truth be told, some times these lil dudes make me want to pull my hair out. They are both so hyper and love to be with me every moment we are together. They do play pretty well together, too for the most part. And it lasts about 15-22 minutes before they want mommy to get involved.  But bless them and my heart they are the best things in my world. In the world, really.
