Blood in yer eye? You shoulda seen the other guy!

Imagine my horror when I look down at Cody and see this blood from his nose to his eye! Man. I was like oh, my gosh! What happened to your eye? Well as it turns out, nothing. He scratched his nose and then I clipped his nails. The next day this happened. He scratched the same spot again, as I was feeding him. So I literally looked down and saw the blood going toward his eye.

He is fine now. This was two days ago and you can barely tell.

And what is behind door number one?

I don’t know why I never think there will be a person on the other side of the door. When I enter or leave the bathroom at work I open the door with vigor. I barrel in or out so to speak. And every time there is a person on the other side I jump. And I almost knock them down because I am concentrating so hard on opening that door and getting in or outta there. I would say about 45% of the time there is someone there. You think I would be use to it by now and not jump and scare us both. Or not barrel in and out. Oh what ever. Does this happen to anyone else? Am I alone here? Are you all the kind of people I am knocking over and scaring?

Cody's big day!

Cody's daddy came to visit today. I try to save a lot of Cody's firsts for when Jeremy is here. I don't know if he cares, but I would so I wait to let him be a part of them. Today we had first hair cut and first baseball game. We also went swimming and to breakfast. (And to Target.) It has been a long day.
waiting for our table

on our way to the pool

at the pool. Check out Cody's face in the first picture! Ha. I love it.

Hair cut!!
All cut! All 5 of this crazy long wispy's are gone! (And tapedd in his baby book!)

And the Diamondback's Game!! Cody's first one! Jeaniece and her family were there, too. We also saw one of my home teachers. We sat on all 3 levels. Weird, I know. Once we were there Jeaniece had 2 sets of tickets so they moved. Then I found Roger and Joan and we sat at the club level for a while before joining Jeaniece at the ground level for the 9th inning. The D~Backs won!! Woo-hoo!
I don't drink at baseball games, but Cody does. Hee-hee-hee. That is me laughing a silly laugh. 45 thousand people and here I am doing this. Who'd a thought.

Memory game

Some friend of mine had this on their blog. It was so fun to read. Leave me a comment a give me a laugh. I know there is alot to laugh about in my life. Thanks!
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together (or my husband). It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

Halloween in August?

Well, I put in my notice that I am moving when my lease is up. I want something a little less pricey. We might downsize to a one bedroom. That being said, my lease is up on Halloween. So I am thinking ahead. And I found these great deals on my kids costumes.

Bella first. She is going to be Minnie Mouse.

And Cody my little kangaroo!

Mommy, where is my kangaroo suit?

Less than one? How can it be?

I took this from Heather's blog. My cousin. Yep, I am a blog stealer, too. But this is funny. There are 39 Cody Graves' in the US, but me. There is one or fewer. Hahahaha!

HowManyOfMe.com
LogoThere are
1
or fewer people with my name in the U.S.A.

How many have your name?

The site tells you how there can be less than one, but it is funny. There are 4 people in the US who share a name with my cat. Bella Graves. That was fun.

The cat made me do it.

Bella wanted me to write a quick blog about life. We have a lot of changes coming up. Bella wanted me to write a quick side note here about how I don't really dress her up so much anymore and while it doesn't make her too sad she misses that extra attention. So much so that she attacked me this morning while I was pumping in guise of playing with me. There Bella, I said it, now, where was I?

Oh, yes. Changes. So my position at work is moving to India. They didn't give us the option of relocating, but they did offer to move us to a different position in our center. So my job will be changing in the next month or so. Next our lease is coming up and we are moving. This apartment is too much money for me. So with the move I will probably be leaving my ward. Which makes me sad. i have really come to love the people in my ward. I am also going to have to find a new daycare. Cody's daycare is returning in 9 months so when we move if it is not in this area he will probably go some where new.

My apartments makes you give a 60 day notice for moving out, so I am thinking about all these things even though most of them are two month away. Blah!

Welp, off to the dentist again! P.S. Cody is 6 months old! His check up is tomorrow! 6 months! Can you believe it?

Baby clothing montage!!! And some random stuff!

Of course I am partial because he is my baby, but Cody is sooo cute! He makes me so happy. I am so lucky to be his mom. I am so blessed to have him in my life.

Cody did a clothing montage, too! '

So I deleted my myspace. I have had it for so long. It was a big deal to me to cancel it. It said it would take 48 hours to be deleted but it is taking longer than that. I already can't log on but people who were my friends can still see my profile. It is super annoying. Ah, well. Hopefully it will be done soon since I can't access it or change anything.

The above pictures are Ethan and Cody at church. Ethan came to church with us on Sunday and had a good time. He really did. I was happy to hear that. I got a calling. I am the relief society chorister. I am musically challenged, so it has been interesting to say the least. I am learning, though. I have some nice people helping. I am even learning to hear and feel the beat.

We most likely will be moving when our lease is up. Need something more economical. And Cody's daycare is retiring in the middle of next year. She was one reason I was looking to stay in this area. I might end up moving closer to my work for economic reasons.

There's always time for a clothing montage!

Jeaniece and Ethan came over for a little bit on Friday night. And Jeaniece and I did a clothing montage. There were lots more outfits than these but the camera only came out for the twinsey type clothes. Our "photog" (a term I picked up while working the scene, the Disneyland media event scene, that is) was really corney and wouldn't snap the picture fast enough. We need to fire that 7 year old kid and get a new photog. Pronounced fo-tog. After they left Cody and I chilled and then Ryan and Lauren and their kids stopped by. Breghten thought the walker thing looked fun. The other day Cody had his first Cheerio. Yes, one. It was so cute and funny. I tried to capture it on video. he made the best face. I think the video might be Cheerio number 2. The first whole one eaten, though. Contrary to what I say in the video he keeps it in!

P.S. This blog shows I have a lot of weight to lose. But, eh, we were having fun so I posted the pictures.

After baby and after that

In the first picture I had lost some weight. I had plateau'd and stopped losing. Then I really had to work at it. I am blogging this becasue I am having a hard time losing more and I need to. I have about 25 pounds to go. (To be at the fattest weight for my height.)

The first one is March 30th.
The second one is July 19th.

These pictures are 6 weeks after cody was born. And then after I did some weight watchering taken about 3 weeks ago.) Which is more like food watching.
