Being a Tourist is Fun

A Day in L.A.

We went to Gorman's Chinese Theater and walked the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

We went to olvera Street.

We walked onto Chinatown where I got told in no uncertain terms that I had big feet and they no make shoes for my big feet size.

We went to Canter's deli which was lots of fun.

We did a fabulous scary drive up the Hollywood Hills and got pretty close to the Hollywood sign. ( you cannot get all the way to it in your car.)

Like I Won

I love movie popcorn.  It is the best.  We even bought a movie theater type popcorn popper for my house.  We use it like 5 - 6 days a week. I even found the ingredients that get it closest to movie or Target popcorn taste.   I males my husband a little sad that since getting this popper for the house my desire to go to the actual movies has decreased 62%. (That and having a little one that does not sit through the movies like his brother did.)

So now that you know all that above info I will get to the point of this quick post.  I was reminded of this tonight when I forgot to dump the kettle after the popcorn stopped popping.  I love it when you accidently some how magically get that one burnt piece of popcorn in the tub at the movies.  It is like a special prize I won.  A rare and tasty gem that doesn't happen very often but when it does,  oh yum!

I must admit I am not looking forward to cleaning my kettle.  But I got that rate tasty gem.  Yum!

Caden says

I have been behind in posting.  I have to post this though.  Caden says things.  He is starting to talk. 

His first word was duck.  With the k sound and everything. 

He is 14 1/2 months old. 

He also says:
Dada
Maamaa
Teeth ... When pointing to or tapping my teeth or someone else's
And this morning he said ball and pointed at the ball he wanted. 

He is starting to test his voice more and more.  He loves making noise.

He is so cute.  He has 10 teeth with 2 more on the way.  He got 2 at a time and had had the first and front 8 since he was 8 months old. 

He is a funny kid.  He will be walking any time.  He just started standing on his own.
He adores his big brother still.

Our Heart is like a Zoo

We love going to the library. There are several San Antonio libraries and we take advantage of that. We go to story time & baby time at different libraries. We also check out books and movies.

Since I am not doing the daycare any more I really want to keep the activities and learning up for lil Cody. I want him to be kindergarten ready.
