These pictures were taken on Caden's 2 month old date.  8/2/2012 I love him and these pictures.
At the time this pictures were taken Caden was up to 10 pounds 6 ounces and 21 inches long. I know he has grown and gained weight since then.

What's your cure for the Monday's?

Monday, Monday. Monday is chore day around here. I make a huge list and get started. I get a sense of satisfaction from checking off each thing. the list is pretty detailed so it keeps me motivates. I don't usually number the list but I did today. I tend to primarily go in order and only jump around a bit as I do things as I pass by or add things that should have been up further on the list. So today is chore day, as was last Monday. And last week I was motivated enough to carry it to Tuesday, too, since I had a lot to catch up on.

Also, I am thinking of making more regular entries here on the ole blog and maybe making sense out of it. I don't know, I am milling over ideas.  Mostly it is about my sweet boys since they are my life. But, for now here are some pictures of my sweet boys.

My baby Caden

One month old today.

It has been an adventurous first month.  13 days in the hospital.  Grandma Karen came to help out and stay with us. Daddy went back to work. Older brother lil' Cody had his last day at daycare (since mommy is starting one at home in a few weeks.)  When you left the hospital you went straight to Chili's. You pretty much slept the whole time. After that you stopped by Sam's Club, then you went straight home where you stayed for a wole 1/2 a day. You had a doctor appointment the next day. You were 2 weeks old.  You have been out to eat courtsey of your grandma's a few times this month. You have also been to the library, church and Sea World twice and the movies 3 times.  You really outta take it easy and stay home and  relax a little. Your mommy is getting tired.

July 2nd

You are growing and gaining weight. 6 lbs 9 ounces as of last Friday (a day shy of 3 weeks old.) You are a breast fed baby and I love the bonding time that gives us, not to mention all the health benefits I get to give you. You can lift your head. You love moving your hands. We still bundle you up a lot since you are still so new and small. You were not due to come into this world for another 9 days. We are so happy you are here with us.

June 29th

More lil Cody silliness and some cute LLB

Every day I am laughing so hard at the things little Cody says and does. Sure he can be pretty hyper, wild and annoying, but more often than not I am greatly amused by him. (Just don't look for that to be during sacrament.)  So more things he tells me.

This morning he told me, "take a bath, hippie!"

When he doesn't want to do some thing, like go to bed for example he says it is over as in, "bed time is over!"

He also tries to change what we are doing by telling me something is closed as in, "Walmart is closed we have to go to HEB."


A little while ago we were singing the Handy Manny fix it somg. There is a line that says twist and turn, make it tight. Cody yelled at me and told me it was "make it swipe!!" I said, Tight! and back and forth it went while I was trying not to laugh.  The next time is camed up the same thing happened. Since we "play pretend" like we are Handy Manny and the tools alot it comes up pretty often.  I told him make it swipe doesn't make any sense. Now he tells me that every time I say anything doesn't ake any sense that, "make it swipe doen't make and sense!!" But he still sings the song that way!

He often says he doesn't like something just because he doesn't want it right then. Like he has one bite of mac n cheese left and we tell him, eat your food and he says, "I don't like it." I am trying to teach him the differnce. He just doesn't want it but he still likes it.

There is so much more I never reemember to write down that I want to share. And keep to tell him about later. I am annoyed my phone doesn't have a decent basic note pad and all the aps are too complex for what I want.

And just like that, there were 2 sons!

He is here! 6 weeks and 3 days early our little buddy arrived.  He is still in the hospital as I post, but he is doing alright.  He was born 6/2/2012 @ 7:29am. He weighed 5lbs 13 ounces and was 18 inches long. Pretty big considering how early he was.  Working on his lungs and breathing on his own. And keeping down feedings.  Thank you for your prayers!
