Old friends new memories. . . Part 4 of our July Vacation.

Like I said. These vacation pictures are not in order. We visited with some more old friends of mine.
Clock wise from left: We met up with a friend in LA on the way to Sheron's house. He asked that I not post his picture in the blog and that is the face Cody made at him. Ha! Then on the way back through LA we stopped in "the Valley" and met up with Lorant. (and avoided a car accident by stopping.) Then we went on down to Irvine and met up with Mook for dinner. Cody is helping him clean his face. The next day in San Diego we got to go to lunch with Lorina. Lorina and I were like totally BFF's in 9th grade. We even made my matching clown Halloween costumes you can see me and Jeaniece wearing on my blog post from October. Haha.

I always say a trip to California doesn't really count as a vacation, but this really was a vacation for us. It was so nice seeing these peeps and Korie (&Jaime) and Sheron.

Grammy and Grandpy and Baby and me.. Vakay part 3

We stayed the first few days with grandma and grandpa Kern. We love them and I love going and visiting them.They are so fun! Jeaniece came and we went to Downtown Disney one day, too.




We visited with Uncle Mark. I lost my key in the car, so we extended our visit to find them. It took over 30 minutes to find the keys I had just used to unlock the car to put Cody in it. Silly Shawnie!

Just Beachy. . Vacation post 2

We spent a few days a the beach in CA. This post is all about one beach day. We have reconnected with a few friends from high school on blogspot and facebook. And thanks to these modern inventions we got to catch up with some in real life (not just the virtual world) again, too.
It was so fun hanging out with Korie and Jaime again. I felt like I already knew their kids from the blog reading. I had a fun time "going deep" into the Ocean with Velzy, too.

Vacation outta order ~~ Sheron and Jake!

We went to California last week and had so much fun. I am behind on the blogging. I am starting with pictures of our trip to Castaic, CA. We went and stayed with the Finger Family. We had a great time! Thank for for letting us come visit you!!

Cody and little Jacob got along so well! It was so nice to see Sheron. We were roommates back in the day. We miss you guys already!

Cody at Church

He is not quite nursery age, but we have been going there for a few months so he doesn't distract in Sunday School. I stay with him since he isn't old enough. This week he was the only kid! We played for a bit and then we to Relief Society. This is Cody at church. He loves church! He has lots of friends there. Young and old.





I sure get some silly pictures with the way he closes his eyes when I count for the picture. It cracks me up! The one below was me playing with my camera and semi blocking the TV. No blocking the Little Einsteins, mommy!!

Happy 4th of July

Cody and I went to my mom and dad's for a fun filled day. Jeaniece came over, too. We went swimming and then to the Florence town 4th of July celebrating. After eating some yummy food! It was a great day! Thanks mom & dad. And you, too J-dawg!
